☼ Mini-Debate

I’d love to debate Behind Her Eyes, but I believe it’s better to wait until more people have read it. So, what do you prefer: series or standalones? I’ve been thinking about this topic for a while, especially because I’m so behind in everything. And I think I actually prefer standalones.

Yes, I’ve loved and enjoyed amazing series these past few years and the connection is deeper when you’ve known the characters for a longer time… but it also has its disadvantages. I hate falling in love with a book and knowing the sequel won’t ever top it. And what about when someone recommends you a series that’s got already 10 installments? UGH. How am I supposed to read all of them and keep up with all the pending reviews?

I’ve been wanting to continue reading Rizzoli & Isles, start Angela Marson’s books as well as Sharon Bolton’s series… I need to read the sequel to A Gilded Grave and continue with Richard Montanari. Tana French’s novels. Read The Teacher (I read number 2). And of course, Robert Dugoni’s #4, Karin Slaughter’s #3 and Camilla Lackberg’s #9.  TOO MANY.

Have you read any of these? 🙂
