May 2017 Wrap-Up & Favorites

This month was special because it was my 1-year blogiversary! So yes, I’m quite happy about that, but on the other hand, I was weak again and requested too many books on Netgalley and I even went back to Edelweiss. I know, I have no willpower whatsoever.

The Perfect Stranger (Megan Miranda)

Lilli de Jong (Janet Benton)

The Fact of A Body (Alexandria Marzano-Lesnevich)

  1. Happy 1 year blogiversary! I’ve done the same with Netgalley and Edelweiss too, was trying SO HARD to catch up a bit but there are a lot of amazing books coming out soon. Lots which I haven’t requested too though, and i know I’ll regret it when I start seeing amazing reviews for them! Oh well 😀 great post x

  2. Looks like you read lots of great books in May! I’ve just added The Weight Of Feathers to my wishlist after your mention of it being a favorite. It sounds like such a good story! I’m reading The Breakdown soon as well and I’ve heard nothing but excellent things about both The Marsh King’s Daughter and Exquisite. Happy reading!

  3. Netgalley is the tool of the devil! 😂

I’ve resisted the lure of Edelweiss so far. Was considering it yesterday but I’m drowning in blog tour duties so I shouldn’t really be requesting anything anywhere! Not sure how long I can wait though. 😉

  4. You’ve got some great books coming up! After my (excessive!) May book haul, I’m determined to reduce my TBR in June!

  5. You did get some really good titles on NetGalley.I loved Here and Gone.I also have Leopard,Unsub,The Walls and The Other Girl.I can’t wait to hear about your experience with Marsh.Have a wonderful new month.Happy reading 🙂

  6. That’s so funny you’ve got Kiss Carlo, a good friend gave me a copy and I’d never heard of it or read any of her books so I was kind of thinking about filing it away but now I think we may have to read it together:)

    1. Ohh awesome! I saw a film based on one of her books and I liked that it was about an Italo-American family and it was kind of a saga, so I thought: I HAVE A MILLION TO READ; WHY NOT ONE MORE? haha

Of course, let’s read it together!!!!!!

  7. Haha! Have you noticed you seem to be acquiring more books than you’re getting through? Just sayin’… 😉 I resisted the Michael Robotham because of review-book overload… I hope you don’t make me regret my decision… 😉

    1. What? No, I haven’t noticed that at all… hahahahaha In my defense (honestly, just to make me feel better), I got only a few these past months so May was an exception lol

      It was READ NOW! I couldn’t resist…

  8. Your blog is a teenager now 😀
I so know what you mean! I was so sure I’d have nothing to do in June that I requested a lot of books and have aligned lots of blog tours… Now I have to read real fast!!
I can’t wait to know what you think of Exquisite!
Have a wonderful June, doll! xx
