It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

Last Week…

Pretty good week overall, managed to read 4 books. Each was so different from the previous one! The Lost Daughter of India was a sad and compelling drama, The Perfect Stranger was a psychological thriller, The Fact of a Body is non-fiction and My Best Friend’s Exorcism felt like watching an 80s teen flick!

Right Now…

It’s time I read the follow-up to the amazing A Murder in Time!

I’ve had this one for almost six months I think. And it’s releasing soon!

In case you missed them last week…

Have you read any of these?

In a past life I was probably a tortured police detective with a dark and traumatic past. Right now, however, I'm just a twenty-something bookworm who loves to listen to old songs and watch American movies from the nineties. I enjoy reading mystery and crime, southern coming of age stories and historical fiction set in the last century.

  1. What did you think of The Perfect Stranger? I wasn’t really very impressed with it. But I also mistakenly thought there was some huge twist so I kept waiting for the twist that never happened.

  2. A Twist in Time has such a beautiful cover. I hope it will be a great read. Are you planning to review Lost Daughter of India and Perfect Stranger on the blog? I hope you will. I can’t wait to read your reviews of both. Have a wonderful week ❤

    1. I think Lost Daughter will be up today. About Perfect Stranger, I think I’ll do a mini-review section along with Lilly de Jong or something like that, as I don’t have much to say haha
