April Wrap-Up (+TBR!)

I didn’t have time to post it on the actual date, but the 23rd of April has always been my favorite day of the year. It is Saint George‘s day here in Catalonia and we celebrate it by buying roses and BOOKS. If you go out, all you see are roses and books. It’s amazing. I got 6 books! Other news: now I have a book-related Instagram! Please, follow me: @themisstery91. I’d love to follow you back!

In a past life, I was probably a tortured police detective with a dark and traumatic past. Right now, however, I'm just a twenty-something bookworm who loves listening to old songs and watching 90s movies. I enjoy mystery and crime, southern coming of age stories and historical fiction set in the last century.

  1. Sounds like you had a great month of reading and a fab book haul! I’m reading Dead Woman Walking at the moment and loving it. I have You Don’t Know Me on my TBR and I’m even more keen to read it knowing it was one of your favourites for April. Hope you have a lovely May and that you get to read more fab books 🙂

  3. I totally slacked and did not post a monthly recap. It has been such a slow month for me. I love the two photos you have up on the Bookstagram and definitely am following 🙂 By the way, Saint George‘s day sounds incredible!

  4. What a fantastic month!
I loved The Kitchen House. I also read The Guilded Years, I liked it, but had mixed feelings when I was done with it. We can chat about that after you read it 🙂

  5. Saint George’s Day sounds awesome! Any day with a built-in excuse to buy books, right?

I’ve not read any of your books but quite a few look interesting – The Last Weekend especially.

  7. I blame you Annie for my NetGalley relapse. I have just requested Bonnie lol. It sounds great and you love it so I hope that I will too. I have read two books on your May TBR; Lost Daughter of India and Perfect Strangers. I look forward to your reviews of both. Happy reading and enjoy the new month ❤
